Took my girlfriend here with someone we'd met along the way on our travels and it was Mt girlfriends birthday. Very lovely restaurant and all run by a family. We were treated so well and my girlfriend was even given a small gift for her birthday. If you want to try guinea pig (cuy) then this is the place to do it as they grill it. Pretty tasty and all our food was amazing. Very good prices and we appreciated the surprise shot of homemade liquor. Would definitely recommend.
TL;DR: MUST VISIT WHEN IN CUSCO!!What a phenomenal experience! The food - excellent, the ambience - fantastic, and the service - can't get any better. This family run establishment ensures their guests leave with a belly full and a smile on their faces. We had the cuy (roasted), alpaca steak, chicharrones and chicha morada. Would recommend all of them.Ernesto is so jovial and high energy. He makes sure all guests have a great experience. Towards the end he gave us an inhouse distilled liquor which in itself was complex with so many flavors. Perfect end to the heavy meal.
Went here yesterday with a friend for a late lunch. We were a little worried since we were the only ones in the restaurant, but it was so worth it!! I ordered a lemonade and the fried rice with trout (it’s a thing in Peru!). My friend ordered the Trout Ceviche. They were both generous portions and super tasty! Plus, the owner was super nice, helpful, and just a sweet person. I’ll probably come back to try more dishes!
Really doesn’t get better than this. Family owned, run, and totally feels the part. Incredible service from an owner who clearly cares about his restaurant. Immaculate dishes and a fantastic atmosphere! 10/10 would recommend, will definitely be back.
Wanted to try out cuy and we are happy we went here. It’s a family-run restaurant and the owner was very kind and attentive (he speaks English as well). We ordered the cuy al horno and it arrived whole, with a little hat on top. This was just for the presentation, you can take pictures and then he cuts the cuy up into smaller pieces (and removes the hat ;-)). It was delicious! The tamale and potatoes served with it as well. We also ordered anticucho which was amazing as well. After the cuy the owner offers you a little shot of a local drink to complete the experience. We recommend this restaurant!
Great place for simple lunch or dinner while exploring central Cusco. Lomo Saltado was good, the service quick and the communication friendly. The owner made us feel very welcome. Loved our experience here!
Good place in Cusco Perfect service and atmosphere. Delicious meat dishes and drinks. The only recommendation is to add additional sauces to the meat (garlic, bbq) in addition to the classic ones. I recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back again.
Tried grilled Alpaca meat. It was tasty and hygienic. Sincere staff, good location.
